You are invited

On Tuesday 15 December 2026, the department gathers in the Main Hall of St John’s College for an evening in black tie: drinks, dinner beneath the portraits, a fiercely contested quiz and a few short speeches.

Kindly supported by Ergéa UK

Ergéa’s generous support has allowed us to run this event. They have worked with OUH since 2021 running our Managed Equipment Services, and installed the John Radcliffe’s new MRI scanner and SPECT/CT gamma camera in 2025.

About our sponsor

Seventeenth century

The College

St John’s was founded in 1555. Its Canterbury Quad, built for Archbishop Laud in the 1630s, is one of the finest in Oxford. Dinner is in the Main Hall, beneath oak panelling and gilt-framed portraits.
